In a temple, there have two 100 metre-long golden ropes. They tie on the pillar that under the ceiling and freely hang beside the pillar. The tail of the ropes freely swing in the air at 1 metre above the ground.

A thief who want to steal the ropes. Assume the rope can stand the weight of a human and there exists no way the theif can reach the pillar without climb on the rope. Provided that the theif will not die when jump down from the height that leave the ground with 10 metres height or below.

Now the question is how long of the ropes in total that the thief can steal in maximum without damage the temple.
